CAVE/COVE Tour Scheduling

Hi all--

FooDog suggested BullyLUG take a "field trip" of sorts to the ERC/HPC2
and visit their COVE/CAVE and other related awesome technology out there.

The COVE is described here: http://www.hpc.msstate.edu/computing/cove/
"Commonly called a CAVE (or Cave Automatic Virtual Environment), the
facility is a room-sized, multi-person, high-resolution,
three-dimensional video and audio theater. It was first developed by
researchers at the University of Illinois at Chicago as a virtual
reality theater suitable for scientific visualization, interactive
presentations, and teleoperations."

Basically, it's something you'll want to see, and Roger Smith of the
ERC/HPC2 has graciously offered to give us a tour of it.

2008 from 5:00PM (~5:15PM buffer) - 6:15PM?

Anyone will be welcome; I'll send out a request for RSVPs near our next
regular Wednesday "hang out" meeting. As far as I know, Roger Smith
only needs a rough number.

Sorry for the vague answer, but I haven't fully thought it through.
I'll work out the logistics of RSVP, where to meet, etc... soon. Stay
tuned :-)
