We've only put one guide up, but if you know of any more that you'd
like only the members of the society to have access to, let me know
and I'll add them.

thanks,
Nick.

Here's every guide licensed by the California Dept. of Fish and Game:

I was hoping some folks would have guides that they know and like
instead of just putting every guide in CA on the site. The full
listing is overwhelming and too broad I think for everyone to dig
into.

Hey BMHS
Nick C here. I'm moving back to the bay Area after a three year
sojourn back east and am looking to go on a pig hunt in June. Anyone
out there have any good recommendations for places to go, guides to
work with, or best of all - anyone want to host me and one or two
others?
Cheers
Nick

Nick,

I would love to take you out but my best hog property just got sold to the water district. I don't know of any other guides around here but will let you know if I hear of any.

I can help you out of you want to take a turkey with a bow...

Best,
Dave

Welcome back to the bay. Dave's definitely your guy for turkey. Solid to work with.

For pigs in June I recommend Conan Egan who guides out of Hopland which is about 2 hours north of SF.  He offers a range of hunt types and runs slightly on the pricier side, but you get phenomenal opportunities on his own family property and a very high success rate. Plus he'll field prep and quarter for you, and depending on your skills he will teach during the hunt.

Best of luck and happy hunting.

I've gone out with 2 great guides:
Dave (who was amazing! too bad about the property)
TJ (also amazing. talkative, but knows his pigs, has access to
thousands of wine and hill country acres in Sonoma and all around good
guy) He calls his outfit running wild guide services (easily
googleable). Saw pigs every time.
