Sad day, I got news today that the iPhone app I've been working on
(and off and on and off....) has been deemed a potential "Conflict of
Interest" at my current place of employment and they've asked that I
discontinue work on it. Alas, while depressing, it is what it is and
I've decided to give the code back to the community (ie you guys) -
it'll be a few days before I get it up on GitHub, but it'll get
there. The app is about 99% complete, just have 1 final bug/feature
to resolve for Basket donations. I'll leave that for the next
enterprising person who comes along :)
If you haven't checked it out yet, Vijay's iPhone App - iKiva - shows
a lot of promise and has a bunch of neat features built in. I'm sure
he'll let you in the pilot should you wish to beta the app before its
release.
I'll be around here for assistance if anyone has questions, and I'll
be on the look out for the OAuth implementation, but unfortunately you
wont see an App Store release from me.

I'm sorry to hear this as well, but we'll be looking forward to seeing your post on GitHub.
Just as an updated poll, who else is actively working on Kiva iPhone apps?
Similarly, who else on this list (including other kiva.org folk) have time, ability, and interest in helping Chris fix and post his app to the App Store?

Sorry to hear that you are not able to push the App to completion.
I'm on the final iteration of the App [ http://vijaykiran.com/projects/ikiva/ ], the last planned beta will be sent out this weekend and I'll submit to AppStore on 11th April.

Please let me know if it doesnt work for anyone - should just compile
out of the box. If you want to run on device, you'll need to set your
own certificates in the Build settings.
I have accounts for KivaToGo (Gmail, Twitter, Bit.ly, etc) if anyone
wants to pickup that name and run with it - just email me
(banko...@gmail.com) if you want the credentials for them. Otherwise,
anyone feel free to use the code however you want. If there are any
questions, let me know.

Side note - you'll notice most of the classes begin with 'iKiva' -
this was the original name of the application before Vijay stole it!
(Just kidding :)). I went with KivaToGo but never got around to
refactoring the names to be correct. Some of the newer classes have
'KTG'.
