Hi all,
I have recently come across a wonderful place - RolliPolli (
www.rollipolli.hu), located in the XII district next to Villa Bagatelle on Buda side (next to Deli PU). My 3 years old Hannah goes there for ballet (she loves it there) and it's very good and very reasonably priced (e.g. 4 classes of ballet cost 5,400 HUF). I have talked to the owner (who is super nice and accomodating) and we discussed possibility of solely English classes, as RolliPolli staff is mostly bilingual (Magyarul and English). In theory Rolli Polli could provide judo, gymnastics, crafts and arts (both for adults and children), circle time and ballet in English only if there is a sufficient interest.
Please understand that this is not an advertisement. I do not have any personal gain in promoting the place. My interest is purely parental. I have noticed that Hannah, even though she is doing very well for her age, has a bit of a difficult time in class as instruction is first in Hungarian and then in English. So she starts doing everything later that everybody else. Also, she cannot communicate with the other class participants. I was told that other girls try to involve her, but due to language barrier, it does not work out for her. And this age is so verbal that it is very important to be understood. Hence, I thought, it would be nice to organise something in English.
If you are interested in ballet class for your lil one (age 3-5 and 5-7), please let me know privately. We need to get 6-10 children to form a class. Preliminary possible timings for ballet would be Thursday afternoon (4-6 pm) and Friday (3-4 pm). And they have performances! :)
If you are interested in any other classes (in English obviously), also let me know and I'll see what can be arranged.
