Roundtable is a gathering of Scout leaders and parents the first
Thursday of each month at the Church of Christ on Fishinger and Kenny
Rd in Upper Arlington.  We have a short meeting with announcements
about upcoming events in the Buckeye District, leader recognitions,
and door prizes.  Then we split up into roundtable discussion
sessions.  The topics vary each month, and you choose what you want to
hear about.  We start at 7pm in the downstairs of the church, and we
end around 8:15-8:30pm.  Everyone is welcome to attend!

Why should I attend?

- To learn about new ideas you can use at your meetings
- To meet other leaders just like you and share ideas
- To find out about exciting opportunities coming up in the district
Everyone is moving to the internet to get information - and that is a
great resource!  Roundtable sessions are an opportunity to get new
ideas AND meet people - in person - who are in your own district.
It's like a live discussion board!

What sessions are going to be at Roundtable this month?

Board of Reviews – Boards of Review track the progress of a Scout. Who
conducts them and when and where should they be conducted? Discuss
some of the questions that can and should be asked. Remember, a Board
of Review is not meant to be an examination.

Pack Committees – Every pack is under the supervision of a pack
committee. What are the responsibilities of this important group and
how can you make your committee more effective? Come to this session
to find out.

Rechartering – When charter renewal time rolls around do you want to
run and hide? Never fear, we’ll show you how quick, easy, and PAINLESS
internet rechartering can be!
Speaker - Bruce Anschutz

Why Knot? – Because it’s FUNctional! Even if you’re all thumbs when it
comes to tying knots, we’ll show you the ropes with fun activities to
keep your Scouts all tied up.

Tax Deductions for Scouters – Scouting depends on volunteers to make
it work. Learn how your expenses can be used to lower YOUR income
taxes. Write it off, you deserve it! (Just in time for the end of the
year).
