Does anyone have contact or information on the author, Richard?

If the author is MIA, I'm supporting of forking, but I'll make an
attempt to find him first. At a minimum we're looking at getting
things working on opensolaris, and possibly adding PEX.

It appears to me as if Richard (the author/maintainer) is MIA. He hasn't
posted to the mailing list in over a year and (in my experience) no longer
responds to email. In order to move forward, I think the btpd community
needs to consider forking/moving the project to some place like SourceForge.

Richard ain't easy to find. The whois of the domain doesn't give
anything helpful either. And the only think I could come up with is
his linkedin profile (if it's really him):
http://se.linkedin.com/pub/richard-nyberg/4/269/862

I personally have no clue what linkedin actuall is, so I am in the
dark how helpful this information really is.

Hello everyone!

Unfortunately I haven't been able to continue hacking on btpd as
I'd would have liked and requests and questions about btpd became
increasingly stressful to me, so I went MIA (yeah I know it's not
the best strategy). I'd like to apologize to all whose emails I
haven't answered. Sorry.

In the btpd project's current form, i.e. me and only me, it's dead.
It'd be very happy if the project could continue somewhere else under
someone else's (or more) guidance though. I may even contribute code. :)

If the project continues somewhere, I will of course update my site
with info about that. I will update the site with the current project's
death in a few days.

Thanks everyone who cared about btpd!

Regards,
-Richard

Why not give access to the site and repository to someone who
volunteers to take control, so as not to confuse users who might not
be keeping up with the mailing list? Less migration if you simply swap
out the leadership. I personally would be willing to take over but I'm
sure there are more interested or dedicated people who would want to
step up. Incase it's a control issue, I do speak some Swedish,
although I doubt that matters.
