Hey,

Anybody want to do some guerrilla coding this weekend? In Asp.Net
MVC, NHibernate, etc.

We're trying to build an application at Idaho Startup Weekend down at
the water cooler in Boise and could use some help rockin' out some of
the views and workflows on Saturday night. We will provide beer and
food to anybody who shows up and the game should be on if that's
important.

We could also use some help on Sunday too, or even virtually if you'd
like. The goal is to release or at least pitch a prototype on Sunday
night.

Interested? Let me know... should be fun... did I mention that this
application doesn't have any annoying business users?

So...not that I did anything useful like lend a hand, but I did think of y'all this weekend!

Oh, and npr had a short local news bit on the event.

How'd it go?  Can you tell us anything about the the super-secret-has-no-business-users app that was spawned?

cheers!
-aaron

The weekend was pretty great, I was super tired but it was fun.  A couple of the teams, http://morgansjourney.org and http://www.getyaro.com got a little closer to launch then I did, http://www.barteri.us/, but I'm still working on it so stay tuned.

They're doing another startup weekend here in town in 6 months. We should form our own stacked user group team, kidnap a designer and a good marketer and then rock something.

I'll echo Andrew's comments about StartupWeekend being great. We had
a wide range of projects to choose from. Ours (morgansjourney.org)
was a "fast as you can" website using WordPress MU/BuddyPress. I feel
dirty from all the PHP hacks. Wish I could repeat the weekend and
been on Andrew's team doing ground-up ASP.NET MVC. Given that Andrew
was working on his site for 50 of the 54 hours, he may not have the
same thoughts about repeating the weekend though.

We all had a great time, hope to see you all in May!
