Because I simply do not have enough positions to recruit for right
now, we thought we'd add another one!  Please refer any qualified
friends and family.  We will also be posting to Christianjobs.com.

Thank you!

I have a question, how does your organization get around Title VII of
the Civil Rights act? Just curious.

As the application says:

In addition to being a non-profit corporation, MAF is also a faith
based religious organization. As a faith based religious organization
pursuant to the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 702 (42 U.S.C.
@2000e), MAF has the right to and does only hire candidates who agree
with our Statement of Faith.

I looked this up and found:

Section 702 of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 255; 42 U.S. C.
2000e-1) is amended to read as follows:

"SEC. 702.

This title shall not apply to an employer with respect to the
employment of aliens outside any State, or to a religious corporation,
association, educational institution, or society with respect to the
employment of individuals of a particular religion to perform work
connected with the carrying on by such corporation, association,
educational institution, or society of its activities."

Cool, thanks for clearing that up Brad.  It is always great when a little education can head off a potential debate.  I was a little curious about the details too.
