Sorry for the late anouncement, but do to circumstances beyond our control, BSDG has to cancel our meeting today.

Real Answer: Grounds crews cut into a power line at our meeting location, so the entire building is out of power -- not good when you meet in the basement.

So, because I'm afraid of the dark, and have a crippling fear of talking to a completely dark room (I can't tell if you are making faces then), we have to cancel.

Sorry everyone.

Nice. Wish I was home then.

BTW – how did the MSDN event go a few weeks ago? Anybody attend? Anybody present?

It turned into a Jason only affair.  I was going to present, but I switched jobs and lost some of my free time in the process.

I went, and thought it was pretty good. I got a few good nuggets,
there was a bit of fluff, but not too much cool-aid. I'd say there
were probably around 50+ people there. Win 7 was more fluff, but had
a few interesting features, such as how to control the popup window on
the start bar. The Prism stuff was pretty neat. And he didn't go
into the "whee, look at all the pretty graphics i can twirle" he
actually wrote code, and talked a little about design patterns.

Over all, I was impressed with the presentation. It was probably had
more code related talk than I've gotten out of those kind of things in
the past.

Actually, that is really good to hear.

BTW:  Azure (cloud) is the topic for next weeks NetDug.  Jason Mauer and Cory Isakson are presenting.

I enjoyed the presentation and second what Mike has said. I was disappointed that they could not demonstrate the multi-touch technology.

I did get TWO pens for my swag. w00t.
