to troop 132
Welcome to the new Webelo scout's  that crossed over this past Sat. we are looking forward to seeing you at the meeting.
We will be having Boards for those who signed up last week.
Good job to those that went to the Klondike Derby this past Sat. Our Junior sled took 3rd place Overall, Awesome.

Thank you to Colin Saylock and Alex Eyler for building the Klondike sleds. In case you haven't heard they built 2 sleds and on Wed when they were bringing them to the meeting one blew out of the truck, by the time they went back to look for it, someone took it. (it has troop 132 written on it) So in one night Colin built a 3rd sled , so we would have the 2 sleds needed.  Kudos for going above and beyond.

Thank you to Aaron Humic, Michael Raebender, Matt Smith,  that came out Friday night and on Sat to help with the Blue and Gold Dinner and Cross over ceremony. Your help was invaluable. Also to Phillip Gilmartin for your help.

Mr MacDonald is doing a day hike on Sat the 18th, see him to sign up , with your consent form. I believe he's planning on going on the Appalachian Trail.
Mostly the camping trips we do are "tailgate" trips, where we don't have to hike our gear into camp. We are talking about doing some true backpack trips, the next level of camping.
Hikes like this are the way to start training and getting ready for these trips. You don't grow as a person if you don't stretch your limits and go out of you comfort zone.
A test of character is to push your limits physically and mentally.

Thank you
Mr Strubert
