Try to be at the church before 6 so we can get on the road as quickly as possible.
There is a high percentage chance of rain for this weekend so be sure to have rain gear. As usual, you should also wear synthetic clothes which will dry quickly.

Hi Troop Families~ Just wanted to give you a heads up that I will be collecting payments tonight for the following: 1) horseback riding weekend (happening May 4th) 2) summer camp (happening June 23rd) 3) survival weekend/advanced backpacking-missed payments Also, please submit any expense receipts for the outings that have recently occurred. We are in the process of shortening the reimbursement window so that we can better track cost/expense of each trip to help us plan in the future. Ideally, receipts should be submitted within 2 weeks after the trip. Please see attached for payment/reimbursement forms which need to accompany every payment or reimbursement request. May 3-5 Troop 13 will be traveling to Jamestown, TN to go horseback riding in Big South Fork National Park. The weekend will provide the opportunity to earn the Horseback Riding Merit Badge. I have had some questions come up from parents and just wanted to try and clarify a few things about this weekend.
This weekend's outing is divided into two separate events. - Wilderness Survival Merit Badge
- Tenderfoot to First Class Camp-out. They are both being held at the same property, but are separate events. The two groups will be doing separate activities in different areas of the property.... more »
