Subject: Flex: Skill Swap / User Group
Hi,
this is a copy of a post I made to the underscore mailing list
recently. If anyone is interested in doing another presentation (on
anything) on the same night let me know :)
Original email follows:

Hi, a couple of Flex-related things...

1) Would anyone on the list be interested in a Flex skill-swap
presentation?

2) Are there any Flex developers in the Bath/Bristol area interested
in
setting up a user-group?

If you are interested in a presentation it would be useful to know
whether
you are a company seeking an intro to Flex (an explanation of the
Flash
platform & a walk-through in building your first application etc) or a
developer wanting to know more about a particular aspect of Flex (e.g.
using
architectural frameworks or a look in to the component lifecycle).
Also, if
you are a developer let me know if you would be interested in
contributing
to a skill-swap night.

If you are a developer interested in setting up a usergroup, feel free
get
back to me with your thoughts. You may prefer an unoffical usergroup,
or if
there is enough interest, to make it an official Adobe one (though
that does
tie us in to a stricter set of rules and I'm not entirely sure I would
have
the free-time to head up an offical group on my own).

You can contact me off-list ( at n...@nwebb.co.uk ) if you prefer. It
looks
like I've got a pretty full schedule up until the end of November but
I
thought by asking for feedback I can at least get the ball rolling :)

Cheers,
Neil

Cheers
