Hi everyone!
A couple of us have signed up for an online version of Brown
University's "Introduction to programming languages" course
(
http://www.cs.brown.edu/courses/cs173/2012/OnLine/) I expect some of
you might also be interested? You can sign up until Monday (ie the
day before next week's BrisFunc meetup), and the course starts
September 5th.
The main piece of coursework will be the creation of a full python
interpreter written in Racket (
http://racket-lang.org/) - sounds cool,
right? I think it'd be really great if people wanted to make a
Bristol/BrisFunctional study group for this course, depending on how
many people are interested. Anyway we could look at Racket in a
future BrisFunc, as well??
