mocking the django ORM

Virtualbox, Windows and Django - oh my...

Django Protip: Don't use strptime if you are hosting in a threaded environment 
  I don't think it's entirely threadsafe and it causes rare but weird as hell bugs. Just process date strings using a custom function or something.
