DORKBOT has arrived in Brighton! The first Brighton Dorkbot meeting is taking place at 7pm on Tuesday 30th October at BuildBrighton! And its Free! ...but what is it?

DORKBOT is a global network of regular show-and-tell and meet up events for 'people doing strange things with electricity'. Expect to meet new people, share ideas, see some cool projects and BE INSPIRED!

This is our inaugural event and we're expecting the format will evolve according to what works best, but we're going to kick things off by showing you

* a precision computer controlled drilling machine made for less than £50!
* a spinning desktop deathstar made out of LEDs!

We also invite you to bring along your own projects to show off, but let us know if you want a proper show-and-tell slot just so we make sure we plan accordingly.

Dorkbot is FREE but it would help our planning  if you could register your interest at http://dbb1.eventbrite.co.uk/
You can get in touch via our Google group https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/dorkbotbrighton if you have any questions
