I read they were recorded on CCTV - the idiots pulled up in their
works van and blacked out the piece. I assume it's taken the fuzz this
long to follow up the complaint?
I see someone has done a restoration job on it. I also noticed the
ageing "Vote Now" Banksy on London Road has been touched up by caring
owners. When will it cease to be original art I wonder?

I'm amazed the police are involved at all. What could they be charged
with that Banksy isn't guilty of himself? And who's to say that
defacing graffiti isn't a work of art in itself? Particularly now
that Banksy is as much part of the establishment as any of the
