... to lubricate the various bearings on the ML7. I'm surprised it didn't come with one tbh.
I'm trying to find out if there is an alternative, but as far as I can tell there isn't.
I've already forked out £50ish of my own (not BMMF) money, buying the cover and lubricating and cutting oils, and I can't afford to shell out for this too unfortunately.
Is everyone ok with me buying this with hackspace funds?

Hi Mike, can we hold off on this until I review the current hackspace
funds? There's been a couple of large spending requests recently
(heating/insulation, components) plus the Henry purchase.

I have a grease gun that we could try if you wanted. It should certainly fit the rightmost of the grease nipples shown on the link. It's even loaded with grease, though whether it's the right sort of grease......
I will put £10 for the oil gun. Will

I'm in favour, but is the item available second hand for less? Meanwhile I pledge £10 to costs so far for Lathe extras. Samuel I've already forked out £50ish of my own (not BMMF) .....Is everyone ok with me buying this with hackspace funds?

I'm keen to get an induction/tutorial on the lathe, which I understand helps towards the costs (how much was it?) I'm happy to do this asap if that helps.
I have not yet worked out a proper lathe induction -- tbh we need to get some decent facing and turning tools sorted -- the brazed carbide tipped ones that i bought are rubbish.
What we really need to do is get some HSS tools ground to size -- anyone on the list any good at doing this? Paul?!
I'm going to invest in a pair of decent indexable tipped cutters as well, to test those out too -- will be with me next week.
That said though -- you can always pay in advance to help out! (£25)
The lathe was £620 itself, and then I've also bought a quick change tool post & holders, which took it to about £700.
