Delurking to ask if anyone has a 3d printer that I could have some time on? If the hackspace has one, I'd be very happy to make a donation if I can use it.
I'm going to be running a workshop on 'hexacopters for activism' in around a month's time, and consequently need to build one sharpish. Happy to let anyone have a play with it once it's made.

It was designed with the Ultimaker in mind, which has a build volume of 210x210x220mm. So an UP! might be a bit too small for some of the larger parts, but could do most of the smaller ones. I think the largest part is the canopy, and this seems most improvisable if it's too big. There's also a two-part version of the canopy that might work.
