Talk 1: "Windows Phone Execution Model" (Simon Ritchie, Matchboxmobile.com)
---------
How it differs from other platforms. Page and application state; load
times; best practices

Talk 2: "Request for Developers: Letter Formation App (Jane Waite)
---------
I am looking for a handwriting app to support very young writers (ages
5 and 6) who find holding a pencil and writing a real chore. To help
them learn letter formation. A fun little app that helps them learn
where to start each letter and the direction of the letter formation.
The apps on the android market either have no 'start or direction'
check, and/or use 'non standard' letter shapes and/or give no feedback
on success and/or are very boring.

God that was awful!!! Pressed the link, had to get a new password, and then pressed link again, and no evidence of the talk at all. Tried various searches and still failed! Can someone who is not so simple please book me in assuming that it is this week - busy next week.

Tudor

SORRY! I'm an idiot. It's Thursday, *next* week.

(31st May - all the booking links are correct, etc - it's just me,
typing the email subject line, who got it wrong)

Thanks, Nick!

Um. Sorry, everyone.

In related news ... I've updated the http://iosbrighton.com website -
it's now got an *automatic* calendar on the right hand side showing
when the next event is, and with a quick-link to register right there
in the sidebar.

Tudor - links all seem to be working fine for me, will follow up with
you off-list.

I'm very sorry for this (3 emails in a row), feel free to hate on me,
but ... I'm getting a bunch of emails saying "it don't work". Again,
my fault: the link in the email is wrong too.

The correct booking link is: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/3030537419

(the link I pasted below will only work if you're an admin on
EventBrite. This worked differently up until this month. They changed
it without notice :(. Generally a great service, but sometimes a
little frustrating... ).
