Muriwai Horse Park will be closed Monday 22nd March

A quick note for all Muriwai riders. The Muriwai Horse Park will be closed
on Monday the 22nd (this coming Monday). They are removing some dead pine
trees before they become a hazard, so please stay away.

Hi Viv,
I believe there is a cycleway planned for Matakana to Omaha in the
Rodney District- I saw it reported in the Rodney Times. A lot of it
might be on the side of the road but even that would be good for
riding on for horses & riders in that area as there is hardly any
shoulder on the existing roads.

could find, to see if any were able to offer either riding or holiday
(accommodation) options for those with their own horses. I also put out a
media release to get a bit more recognition for our mapping initiative.

month:
Waimea River Management Plan - Tasman District , includes plans for trails,
I will contact local clubs but members from the Tasman District please
contact me if you have ideas for this area.

Hi Folks,
For those of you who have a little spare cash, please consider donating some
of it to Horse Welfare. The latest newsletter sadly shows that there are
still many people out there who own horses and really shouldn't. Horse
Welfare as part of the SPCA now seems to be getting more calls than ever.
