Subject: Metric Hose Fittings
I'm in the process of converting my B II vibration pump to a B II
rotary pump.  I've got everything in place except for one fitting.  I
need an adapter that converts something that looks like a 3/8 to a 1/4
male (metric version).  The fitting connects the output of S.S. hose
from the pump to the input tee at the bottom of the boilers. I've
tried the regular stores and a plumbing supply house to no avail.
They don't sell metric.  I've purchased the standard 3/8  to 1/4 male
and it almost fits but leaks.  Does anyone have any ideas?

thanks

rob

Rob, You need an adapter that goes 1/4 British pipe tapered (the boiler tee)
and goes 3/8 pipe thread (SS Hose), but your SS hose might also be British
thread - depending on where you got it from.  Mc Master Carr has a good
selection.  I use the local Swagelok supplier in Denver, too.  They are
pricey, but the quality of their products is superior.

Rob, I forgot to mention that Todd at WLL has an adapter that works, but is
1/4 x 1/2
