Hello everyone!

I hope that everybody gets this mail who is interested in going to the sea. I
write in English so that everybody understands it (but no one perfectly). We
made a bit of search on the possible places to stay as we have to reserve
places before they become full.

I think we will be in at least 12; more if Antonio comes to the sea the second
day or if other friends come who do not accomandate anyone. I calculated the
per person prices with 12 persons; the number of persons might affect the
average price a bit since prices are given per bungalow, not per person. The
train schedules are current shedules from http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/ ;
they might be different in August.

Chiara said that the sea is the nicest in Liguria so I checked the campsites
there on the site http://campeggievillaggi.it/ . I haven't checked other
regions close to Brescia with a seashore (Veneto, Emilia-Romagna), I'll check
if there are better solutions there. Szilvay Máté does not come with us
because he will be in Rimini that week. We might want to go to Emilia-Romagna
and see him.

Most campsites in Liguria are full or require at least a week of stay (21-28
Aug). Chiara has suggested that we could stay for the whole week at a
campsite like http://www.valdeiva.it/ or http://www.villaggiosmeraldo.it/ for
130-150 euro. I think this is probably too much for some people but write if
you don't think so. There were 2 campsites where they said that it would be
available from 22 to 24:

Camping Gianni (http://www.campingianni.it/) in Lerici, near La Spezia, ~3 km
from the sea:
A 4 person "bungalow" is 120 euro/night. The coast is mostly stony in the area
with a few sandy parts (advantages are probably cleaner water and less
crowd). Just like the "Valdeiva" and "Villaggio Smeraldo", it is close to
the "Cinque Terre", a set of 5 villages on the coast which are said to be
beautiful.
Travel (unfortunately long, we can spend 2 full days at the sea):
22 Aug 7:35 Hungarians arrive at Bergamo airport. We should be able to get to
the station in an hour.
9:07 Hungarians take the train to Brescia, it arrives az 10:06.
10:25 We take the train to La Spezia Migliarina, it arrives at 15:40. We
should be able to get to the campsite in under an hour by local transport
(http://www.atclaspezia.it/).
16:30 We go to the coast and get in the sea.
24 Aug 17:00 We get out of the sea, go to the campsite and then to the Sarzana
station.
19:12 We take the train to Brescia, it arrives at 22:16.
Train ticket of Italians: 24,80 euro, Hungarians: 28,40 euro.
Lodgement cost per person: 2*(3*120)/12=60 euro.

Camping la Pineta (http://www.lapinetavacanze.it/) in Albenga, ~4 km from the
sea (that is, from the nearest point of the sea), 5 km from its assigned
beach to which buses go from the campsite:
A 6 person "chalet" is 110 euro /night. The coast is sandy (advantages are
those because which that aformentioned crowd prefers it).
Travel:
22 Aug 9:27 Italians take the train to Milano
9:57 Hungarians take the train from Bergamo to Milano
11:10 We hopefully find each other and take the train to Albenga which arrives
at 13:59
24 Aug 18:04 - 22:33 We take the train to Brescia
Train ticket of Italians: 53,10 euro, Hungarians: 51,75 euro.
Lodgement cost per person: 2*(2*110)/12=36,67 euro.

Pls write if you like one or other solution better (one of these two or
considering going to Emilia-Romagna) or have other suggestions.

Daniel
