The coalition's April presenter has been recognized for her work in our community by Meyer Memorial Trust:
 
Jennie Hawthorn Mayes, Co-Founder and IBCLC for the organization Daisy C.H.A.I.N. Creating Healthy Alliances In New-Mothering is one of 12 winners of the I AM OREGON contest (sponsored by Meyer Memorial Trust). Her volunteer work in our community has been honored with an all expense paid trip to Washington DC to attend the 2013 Conference on Volunteering and Service!

Learn more about Jennie and Daisy C.H.A.I.N. at the coalition's next meeting on Monday, April 15. Meetings are baby- and toddler-friendly. Everyone welcome.

Creating Healthy Alliances in New-Mothering is a non-profit organization in the process of attaining 501(c)3 status. Providing the community with quality, affordable, research and evidence based support services and education for new-mothers and their families. Daisy C.H.A.I.N.'s Jennie Hawthorn Mayes just yesterday received a Meyer Memorial Trust honored distinction for her volunteer work and service to community. (Thank you and way to go Jennie!)

 

The Coalition steering committee meets one hour prior (6pm) to the general meeting. Everyone is also welcome to attend and assist in coalition guiding and planning, too.
