Do you know some good tests to find out where in which functions the
strenghts and the weaknesses of someones brain are lying? I think this
is a good base for an individualized training which would be a great
step towards optimizing brain function. Myslef I was reading of e.g.
the subtests of the Woodcock Johnson Psycho-Educational Cognitive
Skills Battery and Achievement.

Well all the areas I can come up with are G,memory, visual memory, executive functions, arithmetic, reading span, attention, speed. Maybe some more. Many of these are highly correlated, Executive functions and IQ however are not. Still it has somewhat been overlooked by the IQ-community despite it's importance in many diciplines especially math.
