Hi all,

I'm a little new to the software, but I've been working through the options and can't find one to 'set' the N-back number (ie. start training at a 3-back instead of 2-back). Is this possible, or must one progress up from 2-back to X-back?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

-Stefan

You can do this within the program by entering manual mode by pressing the M key, and then using F1 and F2 to adjust the n-back level. In manual mode, the n-back level will stay constant and will not be increased or decreased based on your performance like in normal mode.  Pressing M again will return to normal mode at the designated n-back level.

You can also set the default n-back level by editing the config file config.ini in the Brain Workshop data folder.
