Hi BPH! I wanted to reach out and thank all of you that so kindly donated equipment and money towards getting me back on my skates. Ever since I started playing with you guys, you have made me feel a part of the team, allowed me to fall in love again with the sport, and also ragged on me for doubling up social events haha. I am very greatful for all that contributed because I would not have been able to get back on the ice so quickly. Through this experience I thought it would be great to set up a BPH Equipment Backup Fund for people similar in my situation. As we all know hockey equipment can be expensive so it would be nice to have a backup plan for future incidents. From all of the equipment donations I have many extra items, such as another helmet, stick, skates, bag, elbow pads, pants, and shoulder pads. If anyone would also like to bring extra items that are unused then we can create a nice inventory system of what items are available. Gear donation request for fellow skater...

All- Last week one of the guys from hockey had his hockey bag stolen from his car near his home. His insurances wont cover the loss and unfortunately due to tighter than normal financial times and student loans, wont be able to replace his gear. Boston Pride Hockey is taking up a collection to get him back on the ice and skating with us! If you have used gear or duplicates or would like to donate cash/gift card, please bring your donation to scrimmage ice any Thursday evening or contact me directly and I can make arrangements to get the items from you.... more »

Happy 2012, BPH! Please take a moment to review this email. It contains important information on upcoming events, save the dates, etc... Scrimmage Ice: Continues every Thursday night, 9pm in Cambridge. We have had great turn outs and the after skate socials have been well attended. Pre-pay plans for the second half season (January 5th-April 12th) are available. 15 skates pre-pay $225 (save $75!) and is due no later than January 19th. 5-pack vouchers are also available for $75 (save $25) and availeable through the end of January. All - Get the skates laced up and join your fellow hockey players for an hour of ice in Cambridge every Thursday night, 9pm-10pm at the Simoni rink. The after skate social at the Independent starts immediately after the skate. Tournament Meeting/Dinner and "G Force" Hockey

Hello Members - If you are planning on being involved in coordinating an aspect of the Boston BeanPot Tournament held in May, 2012, please plan on attending our preliminary meeting being held from 6-8pm on Thursday, December 1st. Dinner will be provided. The meeting is being held at my office in Kendall Square (300 Technology Square, 2nd Flr, 02139). PLEASE RSVP if you are attending. At this meeting we will be discuss the planning of the tournament to include, format, sponsors, and all the logistics. A reminder Thursday scrimmage ice started last week and continues every Thursday at 9pm (except holidays) until March, 2012. Pre-payments ($250 covers through Dec 31st) are due by the 15th of this month. Drop in skates are $20/night. Social at The Independent immediately following the skate. Hi Everyone - Boston Pride Hockey is making a league change this year from NESHL to Stinky Socks hockey. By moving leagues we are gaining more consistency with regard to night, time and rink location. In polling members of the organization over the last year or two, we have found the consistency option as being very highly regarded.... more »
