I deleted all the reg and harddrive entries, as written, also ran
sfdrvrem.exe and it doesn't find any starforce anymore. but stilt, if

Does the Steam version of ToCA Race Driver 3 include Starforce?

Almost all games, including all Codemasters and all 1C Company games
that had Starforce, remove it in the Steam version but for ToCA I am
not quite sure. Any knowledge regarding this?

I ran into this by accident trying to find a solution to a problem I have. I have been having problems with my screen spinning when I am playing PC games. How bad is SafeDisc?

I just looked at my Pac-Man World Rally CD-ROM, and there is a file named SECDRV.SYS on it, so I guess that means it uses SafeDisc, and not StarForce. But after reading all this stuff about StarForce, I wonder if it is OK to install SafeDisc onto my computer? Or could SafeDisc also cause problems like StarForce does?... more »

I just set up an awesome three screen system with a brand new computer with the purpose of using it for iRacing. As long as it was a dedicated gaming area I figured I should load up some other racing games like rFactor, Trackmania, GTR, GT Legends, and Grid. They forgot to remove the starforce/add a patch to remove the starforce for chaos theory!!! The nerve! First of all its 5 years old...they should just release it for free for failing so many people with starforce... What adds salt to the wound is I just bought chaos theory without being educated. Luckily I found out about starforce before installed... more »
