Thinking about buying Spellforce 2: Gold on steam cause of the weekend
deal and heard there isnt starforce on it, can anyone confirm whether
this is a safe buy or no?

yeah, why would an download version have anti cd/dvd copy
software :) ? so no it doesn't have starforce.

Lots of Download games have Starforce or other DRM, just because it's
not on a physical disc is no guarantee that it's Starforce free.

However, a little research on Google seems to suggest that Starforce
was on the demo version only.
