Hello everyone!

Once again this Thursday I am happy to host board game night! If
anyone is interested in attending, I will plan on the usual (or I
should say, traditional) 7pm start time at my place: 2324 South
Street, #5. Hopefully this is not too late notice, I would love to see
everyone and play some board games! I hope everyone is having a good
week, RSVP to the thread if you think you can make it on Thursday!

Matt.

I cannot make it either, in Denver for a film screening tonight.

I do have a question for the group, though: Looking for a GM who can run an RPG campaign for a group of us, either D&D or something similar (a few players have expressed an interest in White Wolf).  We want someone who is more into the storytelling and having fun, and less obsessive about stats and rules. Meeting every other Sunday afternoon in NE Boulder. Interested? Drop me a note off-list, please. Thanks! :-)

OK! No worries -- Ian currently you are the only one RSVP'd -- we can
play some 2-player games if you are interested, or I am happy to
cancel and move to next week! I'll be home either way just before 7pm;

Matt.

Maybe we can host here sometime while I am recovering so that I don't need to worry about driving.

Netrunner! I haven't played Netrunner in about 15 years. But I would
totally play again!

I've actually got a whole bunch of retro CCGs -- On the Edge,
Shadowfist, Rage, Netrunner, Vampire, Middle-earth, Legend of the Five
Rings Would there be interest in a regular or occasional "Card games
like it's the '90s" night?

Yes! Ian and I played the 'new-age' Andriod: Netrunner (reimplementation of Netrunner done by FFG). I'm starting to like it more and more as I play it. The meta-game of deck building is certainly much better than the original Netrunner. I still have all of my Battletech, Netrunner, and Star Wars CCG cards and perhaps a few Magic ones in there (thought mostly I was in the Battletech and Netrunner camp back in those years). I would be happy to drink some brews and play again sometime! Hope all is well Trevor;

Matt

PS> All, I am planning on hosting games again this coming Thursday after the Monday/Tuesday storm settles. Expect confirmation from me soon!

I would be very interested, though I've only ever played Magic, really. That's not to say I wouldn't be interested in branching out...
