Hi,

I created a confirm rule "send an edifact confirmation (CONTRL) when receiving" which does create the right EDI message but it sends it to the wrong output channel.  How do you control which channel the generated CONTRL message gets routed to?

Thanks,

I got this to work by implementing it similar to the APERAK example in the plugin: http://sourceforge.net/projects/bots/files/plugins/edifact_ordersdesadvinvoic_20111124.zip

I am not sure how I will respond with a CONTRL confirmation when there are errors in the incoming message but it is a good start.

Hi Chris,

I'm also facing the problem of sending a CONTRL when there is an error in the incoming file.
Check our discussion about this : "Return CONTRL when error in incoming message"

What I'll probably do is create a routescript, querying the DB about the last errors and returning a CONTRL for each file in error... only if error is @grammar / syntax level (no communication problem - file stucked...)

I assume we'll get our respective progresses posted :-)

Regards,

JF

Hi Jean-Francois and clemper,
how did you finally resolve your CONTRL issue? I'm facing the same problem to have a more customized CONTRL behavior with bots.
                   Best regards Bernhard

hi Bernard,

the CONTRL message is made within the same route in the 'translation' phase.
after translation, if the output needs to go to separate channel, use filtering for outchannels.
you need to setup a composite route.
use 'filtering' for the route-parts with outgoing channels.

see here: https://code.google.com/p/bots/wiki/RoutesComposite

kind regards,
henk-jan

HI Henk-jan,
thanks for the quick response and the hint. I'll have a look into it. Best regards Bernhard
