The issue is that these files were in the develop branch on github but hadn't made it into a boto release yet.  This should now be fixed in the latest boto release (2.9.3).

Hi,

After doing a pip install for boto 2.9.2 (on Mac OSX), I find only the following files installed under the dynamodb2 folder:

__init__.py
__init__.pyc
exceptions.py
exceptions.pyc
layer1.py
layer1.pyc

From my examination of the source code on github, the following files were missing from the folder:

fields.py
items.py
results.py
table.py
types.py

Does anyone know if this is an error with the install files? I am using boto to interact with DynamoDB and until I copied over the missing files from git to the pip install directory I was not able to get the example code working. Now that the missing files are there things are working (mostly) as expected.

Thanks,
Matt
