I visited Franklin Park between 8-9 AM this morning, after a brief
stop at FH cemetery looking for the Snow Goose (not). Did have my 1st
Bufflehead there as well as 7 Hooded Mergansers and a Sharp-shinned
Hawk. At Scarborough Pond I failed to find the Cackling Geese or the
Shovelers but did see 2 odd geese, which I believe are Canada X
Greylag crosses. Reviewing the many goose variations, the only other
possibility I think would be Canada x Greater White-fronted which I
think very unlikely. Note the yellow legs in addition to the facial

Bob Stymeist referred to these odd geese as being Swan Geese the other
day. Beyond that, my ignorance prevents me from further discussion.
