Hey folks,
Just a few things I wanted to mention this week.
The first thing, which demands your immediate attention:
Word on the street is that All Balboa Weekend registration is opening
very soon. We also know that they're offering group discounts again this
year. However, unlike last year, you need to sign-up with a group BEFORE
you register. They're also being a little stricter about who's a member
of our scene, but they do know that we pull people from RI, NH and CT,
so no worries there.
If you're planning on attending, shoot me an email and I'll put you on
the list (and let you know if we've made critical mass for a first or
second group).

Slightly less pressing, but no less important (or awesome) is that
registration for the Joel & Dominique Balboa and Lindy Hop workshops is
now open and the discounts will be available only until March 13, after
which the prices will be going up. Don't miss your chance to pick up
some tips from these fantastic instructors.

For those who want to get their friends fully versed in the Balboa
fundamentals (or just brush up on the basics yourself), we'll be having
another Balboa Crash Course on Saturday, March 16 from 1pm-5pm. Crash
course covers all the basic figures of Balboa along with connection and
technique.

And the next day, free admission for all crash course attendees at...
Balboa on a Sunday Afternoon, Sunday, March 17. Introductory lesson at
3:30pm, open practice starting at 4:30pm with music definitely going for
practice and dancing by 5pm.

Hope to see you soon, dancing Bal!
