Boilermakers this Saturday; EBC registration opens

Hey folks,

In case you hadn�t heard, Blues Cafe is bringing in the Boilermaker Jazz
band, an awesome band out of Pittsburgh, that makes only infrequent
visits to New England. We�ll be swinging out in honor of Frankie
Manning�s 98th Birthday celebration, but you're sure to catch us dancing
some Balboa as well. (We'll also be doing a performance during one of
the band breaks.)

Also, in case you hadn't heard, registrations for EBC (the Eastern
Balboa Championships held in Raleigh, NC) opened this past weekend.
They've got tiered discount pricing and are already on the second level
and tickets are really good right now from Boston to RDU (less than
$200RT!), so what are you waiting for? It should be noted that there's
still a field in the registration for about signing up with a group, but
I've talked to Chris Owens, the organizer, and he's not sure whether
there will actually be group discounts this year. No harm in putting my
name in, but why not sign up while the prices are low?
