Description:
An informal group of uilleann pipers located in and around Boston, Massachusetts. We get together monthly, usually at a location that's accessible by public transportation, to talk (and play!) pipes. Membership is free, and open to anyone who plays (or wants to learn to play) the uilleann pipes.

Irish festival

Just had a call from Kevin O'Brien, letting me know that although Brian O'Donovan is NOT organizing the ICONS festival at the Irish Cultural Center in Canton this year, there WILL be an Irish festival there. No big names like the ICONS festival, just (mostly) local bands, but it will run the usual two days. They're looking for some pipers, to do a one-hour... more »

If people are interested, please email me back and we can set something up either with the Lutheran Church in Cambridge or with the Skellig in Waltham.
