Just a quicky F.Y.I that the Sean Reid Society has got a website up.

While still in the works, it does have their two journals and some
great information about Sean Reid (with more to come).

Thanks for that Johnny. I'd like to point out that Ross Anderson's site
(there's a link on the front page of the Sean Reid Society's page) has links
to a whole bunch of old (I mean really OLD) recordings of pipers. Here's a
direct link, just scroll down till you find the 'Irish music recordings'
heading: http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~rja14/music/

Of particular interest to this group is a recording of uilleann piper Mici
'Cumbaw' O'Sullivan, originally from Kerry, but resident for a long time in
Worcester MA (where a lot of Cork/Kerry people emigrated to). He eventually
went back to Ireland, where he died.
