Dick Wall and I are considering holding a public Stairway to Scala
training course in the greater Boston area December 5 to 9, 2011.
Before we make a final decision we wanted to gauge interest. If you

I am excited to announce that Alexandre Bertails and Seth Tisue have joined
me as co-organizers of BASE.
Alex and Seth are both prominent members of our user group and I am sure

Hello all,
As announced before, we decided to start using Meetup for all of the
communication within the group.
This means we will stop using Google groups mailing list and Eventbrite
event registration system. There will be phase-out period of 4 weeks during
which all three services (meetup, google groups and eventbrite) will be in

Our next meeting has been scheduled for Monday, August 15th at Microsoft
NERD Center. It is going to be an evening of Scala frameworks!

Is the Monday meeting referring to BASE August 2011? or this coming
Monday (presumably, not the same as Base July 2011).
Couldn't seem to find more info about this.

Hi Seth,
I believe the two talks given on Monday were pretty much reruns of the same
Scala Days talks and I hope those will be published soon.
Nevertheles, if Nikita and David want to share the slides here, that would
be fine as well.
