Has anyone tried libraries like http://github.com/diminish7/rave for writing Google Wave robots in Ruby?  I'm curious to hear any experiences or recommendations.

Cheers,
Jason

[Somewhat off topic] It's impressive that you guys managed to score some of the super rare invites :)

Sounds like a neat concept from everything I've read.

Should anyone happen to have a spare invite I'd love to take a look at it.

Thanks,
-Chris

I got a few invites, so ping me if you'd want one. Chris, I've sent
one to you (they take a while though).

It's not as interesting as you'd think.

From talking to the Googlers I know, it's apparently *VERY* early in its development cycle.

So, I think people's expectations were set a bit too high for where it is in its gestation.  Apparently, check back in a few months and see how you feel.

Yeah, I got on, but have no invites.
It's pretty cool.  I mean, it's neat what they've done.  It's got a long way to go.
Not really obviously useful until a ton of people you know are using it.
Right now, it's a lot like this:

It's coming though :-) and not just from Google... The project I'm the
architect for just announced full wave support -
<http://www.novell.com/pulse> - and we also expect to be supporting
robot and gadget as well.

Just want to say that I have been really, *REALLY* impressed with some of the things Novell has been investing in over the last few years.

I'm a huge fan of Mono, and this looks like a really neat project!
