The Rails class is back: bigger, longer and hopefully improved!

* Now includes 8 sessions
* Twice a week (Wednesday and Sunday evening)
* 2-3 hours per session

Sermo will be hosting and catering the sessions. They are located at 215 First Street, Cambridge, MA, on the 4th floor.

Part of the class will include building a public facing website, and deploying it on EC2. It will be judged by a panel of VCs and technologists. Top 3 applications will be awarded sweet prizes (one of which rhymes with "goaded hackbook mare").

To sign up, view the syllabus, or for more information, go to http://rubyu.heroku.com/

Hi Matt,

I had decided to not attend this class, but after being at the bostonrb meetup at Sermo tonight I changed my mind. I just signed up for it. I really hope I get in and will see you tomorrow. :)

Thanks,

Didn't catch this until now (a matter of hours before it should
start), but I'm basically walking distance from Sermo so if there's
still space and you process my RSVP ultra fast, I'd love to check it
out :-)

I'm not super new to Ruby and Rails so it wouldn't be the end of the
world, but I'll look forward to the videos if not.

Nice of you to run the class, hope all enjoy!

Guys,

I wanted to attend these classes but I rsvp'd today only. Is there any chance I could still attend these sessions, should anyone cancel his/her classes?

(BTW, am a developer willing to move/know Ruby/ROR...has a developer experience of 6 yrs in C# and then few yrs in asp.net also)....

Hi, is there any room left? I registered via the URL, but got no
feedback afterwards as to whether I can squeeze in or not. If there's
no seating left, I can easily sit on the floor in a corner. :-)
