Hi All, I working Encrypt and Decrypt the program with 3des algorithm, If we Encrypt the string and Decrypt the encryupted string it will work fine... If we call only Decrypt function by passing command line parameter or passing any Encrypted value it showing follwing Exception. Can you please assit on this.... more »

optimizing table size, is it worth it?

I am new both my employeer and Interbase. We are using Interbase 7, I have heard reports that as the database grows in size (300M to 400M), preformance really takes a hit. I am currenting adding a whole new feature to the application, so I will be adding a bunch of new tables. I am wondering... Is it worth while to optimize tables to fit into... more »

Interbase: Calling Stored Procedure Inside a VIEW

Hi All, We are trying to call "Stored Procedures" inside the view. Interbase is raising error on the "(" character of stored procedure. Inserting a blob into Database

Need to insert miltiple blobs into the database workbench using Firebird 2. How do i do it? I've tried... INSERT INTO theTable (id, blob_col) VALUES (42,{$blobfile=c:/data/image.b mp}); But firebird doesn't recognize the "=" to sign. How must i go about doin it?
