Hi all

I recently installed D2007, now when I start BDS2006 I don't see a button
for it in the task bar. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Ah excellent. Could you tell me, is this also the reason that my task
manager windows no longer has a border?

this is a known issue, and already logged internally.

also, if you minimize the D2006 IDE, the task bar button comes back.

Yes, minimizing does bring it back. I noticed two weird things immediately
after installing D2007. One is the D2006 task bar issue, the other is that
the task manager window has no non-client area at all.

Win XP32 with service pack 2 + all latest updates installed.

I see that too, but not related to D2007 (I start my own startup now and
have very low money now to play :( ).

Is something related to a check in the menu, I don't remeber what, but
after I check (or uncheck) the thing become normal...

I see this when I use the floating form designer in Delphi 2007. If I
use the embedded one and start BDS 2006 and Delphi 7, I see two
separate buttons in the task bar.

You have to double-click the edge of the form, then the border
appears/disappears. No idea what use MS thought that might be :-)
