I need to be able create a shared object that creates a Form
( parentless, "modeless" ) in Kylix.

I'm curious if anyone here know of a web page that may have some sort
of examples of this.

I know it's off topic but I've exhausted all other resources.
If I don't get an answer soon, then I'll just have to use wxWindows.

I see you did, but only yesterday. Please give people some time to come
up with answers before you post elsewhere.

Have you checked the group. Of course not you just want to
act in the typical Usenet way: state facts that aren't so.

I didn't ask how to create shared objects, I asked for web pages that
describe how to create shared objects which create a form.

I've long since learned that it is almost fruitless to ask questions
on Usenet. There are very few people competent to answer your
questions ( the notable exceptions Chris Uzdavinis, Barry Margolin
, Kai.Grossjohann and a couple other notable people ).

This often means that you get told things by someone who has been at
it for a year, when you've already known them ten years ago.

Or people offering advice when you ask for a web page.

I suspect that the good Kylix web pages are associated with good
Delphi/C++Builder web pages. So that people here would have some
idea of whether the web page I am looking for exists.

Yes.
And I check with IRC and google and teoma and groups.google.
I know how to search the web.

Matched by very few people competent to pose a question?

I did check the Kylix groups, and found your message. But if you don't
get an answer immediately, that is not a reason to go go to other,
unrelated groups with the same question.

- Please tell me where I stated facts that aren't so.
- Please don't assume I didn't look.
- This is not Usenet.

You crossposted to the BCB and Delphi group. Both can't be used to put
forms into shared objects. You shouldn't crosspost, and your message is
off-topic in both groups.

Thanks for the roses. Then why bother?

Waiting one day is a bit short, sorry.

Fine. If there is nothing on the web, probably this hasn't been done very
often before. So be patient.
