strange Canvas painting

Why when i call Painto from a panel do I get 2 different results when
painting to a tprinter.Canvas and a tBitmap.Canvas?

I have a panel with misc controls including radio buttons.
When I paint to the printer the radio buttons show up, when painting to the
bitmap they do not.

Why?

Figured this out.

Seems locking the bitmap before painting solved the problem.
