Just installed Delphi 2005 and upon running it for the first time got the
following error while the modules were loading on the splash screen: Access
violation at address 0A0177BE in module 'htmlhelp290.bpl'. Read of address
00000018.

After discussing with Borland technical support we found out that the
following registry key was missing from my computer. If you have this same
problem add the following:

My Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\DExplore.exe

The "Default" value should be 'Microsoft Document Explorer' (No quotes).

You'll then need to add a string value to that key named 'AppID' with a
value of {4A79114D-19E4-11d3-B86B-00C04F79F802}

I thought that I wouldn't be the only one that has this problem being I've
got a fresh installation of Server 2003.
