[Boost-users] boost::asio:read and timeout

Hi,

This has probably been asked before.  Is there a way to apply a timeout on the synchronous read for a socket in boost.

I have no option but to do a synchronous read.

 

If not is there a ticket and when is the release date for this functionality.
