Trey Spruance and The Book of Angels #9

This thing has APPARENTLY been delayed so many times that they've come
out with #10 in the interim. Does anyone have any clue why this is
the case. I know that just about every project that Spruance has
taken part in has been delayed for one reason or another, but this is
getting ridiculous. The only solace I take from the numerous and
lengthy delays of his projects has been the final product. The man is
an incredible artist, but give us a nugget for the love of all that is
holy. Tell us that Trey is in the studio perfecting the piece...I
could live with that, but if it's delayed for too long without any
word at all, loyal listeners may forget about it. I read October
somewhere.

Anything anyone can find would be much appreciated.

Well, I'm not sure WHY exactly it has been delayed. The latest I
heard was that it would ship on 4/25. I was one of those who tried to
order it LAST October - only to have Amazon cancel my order.

The GOOD news is that Trey has a kind of sampler posted on his MySpace
site of the tunes on Xaphan - so there's at least a little nugget of
music available...

Don't know if you've been able to pick it up, but BOA9 "Xaphan" is
AVAILABLE though it has not officially been released. I picked up my
copy from a CDUniverse store.
