Hi Uday,
You are getting confused with the concept of embedding. Embedding means that
when you compiling your application, you are adding the image to the SWF.
Which means that the image will be a part of the SWF and the size of the SWF
will increase accordingly.
Now, when want to dynamically load an image, you cannot embed it. In this

please tell me how can we add images at runtime to "embed source".

Hi,

There are various ways to optimize images. If your have small icons
and button images, add it directly to the flex app using "embed",
although it will add some size to your app but still downloading time
ll be less.
Next create a static asset library class having references to all your
images you wish to load and organize them in a proper set.

I guess college lab will do. But apart from that, we need:
1. Someone like Priyank who can take initiative and organize the entire
