Group project on Java FX

Hi all,

       There has benn lot of enquiries about the Example application for Java FX. ie web application framework integrated with java fx. I know there are couple of enthusiasts who are really interested to know more about Java FX and get to know how to integrate with some of the well known web frameworks like Struts , spring , guice etc.

       I would like to invite every one who is interested to  develop some tihng in Java Fx , it can be thought of as the demo application. Who ever is interested please reply to this thread and keep the idea flowing.

But this application will be  based on which functional area / domain .

 

Skils of individual ppl will be  different . how to keep syndc with that .?

       This is just a community activity for all of those who are interested to know and dive deep into the java Fx , its just an attempt  to get people who are interested to team up and do some thing in java fX

Hey ....

It is a great idea :) ....

My suggestion is to go with technical domain rather going specific to particular business. So that our scope is bigger .... my initial thoughts are ...


1. Since JavaFx is a new Technology, there will be shortage of good Application controller framework. We can think about implementing UI framework that simulates something like struts or Swing application framework for JavaFX ...


2. We shall write a integration framework with ORM tools, Spring or Web Frameworks.


Any suggestions !!!

       Ok now we have some people we can go ahead with some application. I  would like to take the lead , I would like some one to volunteer to just initiate over the bojug.wikispaces.com and discuss like how to go about it.. Any one can just volunteer and just start to just put down the ideas in the wikispaces . And once the concrete idea is freezed. The team can go ahead with the development..

              So some one volunteer and go ahead with it..

Lets create a distributed java application using JavaFX as the frontend. Doing such application
will help the community to interface JavaFX in the J2EE environment. Lets start the flow of ideas to startoff.... 
I would suggest to create an online discussion board application which has rich GUI. and features such as GotoMeeting.com
