Sarjaana,
Well done for getting your team up and running, great idea.

Here are some tips to help you with running your team. These are just suggestions!

1. Might be good to re-name your team,  Its called "Quake Catcher ASEAN" and its only good for the QCN project. If you were to re-name your team to something simple like just "ASEAN" or ASEAN - Asian Nations", then you could make your team a "BOINC-WIDE" team so it exists on all boinc powered projects like SETI@home , climateprediction.net and World Community Grid.

BOINC Wide teams explained;

2. To quickly set up your new team with a name like "ASEAN" on all boinc projects, create a "BAM" account and use it to create your team on all the projects.

3. Get the people running the ASEAN website to add a page of information about BOINC, and your new team in a prominent place on the website!. Try to explain BOINC in a simple way and add some links for how to join your team.

4. Get other websites involved in the ASEAN organization to add some information to their website about boinc and your team!

5. More useful boinc team information is available here; http://www.boincteams.com

Good luck!

John.

Dear John,

Thanx for the guide

 ASEAN is a multi-countries organisation and the official ASEAN organisation is a multi-governmental initiatives. Formation of the team is just to unite all machines and members that resides within the ASEAN region countries. This team do not represent the ASEAN organisation or ASEAN secretariat per se.

We will discuss further to change it to a better and more relevant BOINC-wide name.

Thank You for your suggestion.

Regards,
AZMI Salim
of Sarjaana sub-team.
