Sunday 2nd October - Brandon Allen Quartet
Brandon is a saxophonist originally hailing from Perth in Western Australia but has made his home in London during recent years. He is a fixture in jazz clubs around the country and can often be seen performing at Ronnie Scott's, but he has also gained true international recognition and has performed at some of the biggest jazz festivals around the world. He has been described as one of the most exciting tenor players in the country and his John Coltrane inspired style is always delivered with passion and great energy. Joining Brandon are pianist Ross Stanley, Tim Thornton on bass, and drummer Matt Home.

Sunday 9th October - Derek Nash
Derek is one of the most popular saxophonists on the London jazz scene today. He is the leader of the award winning group Sax Appeal, and is also a member of Jools Holland's Band with whom he has toured all over the country and made countless TV appearances. Derek has often played at Boaters with the explosive "Protect The Beat" and so any evening with him is guaranteed to be a funky affair. Completing the line up are Winston Blissett on bass, Darby Todd on drums and Simon Carter on keyboards.

Sunday 16th October - Mornington Lockett
An anniversary month at Boaters would not be complete without an appearance by Mornington. He is undoubtedly one of the finest tenor saxophonists this country has to offer and one of the most popular visitors to Boaters, having appeared here more times than any other guest since the gig began in 1990. Over the years he has been a member of Ronnie Scott's band, the Jim Mullen Quartet, and more recently "Celebrating the Jazz Couriers". The line up is completed by Laurence Cottle on bass, drummer Mike Bradley and pianist Simon Carter.

Sunday 23rd October - Natalie Williams
Natalie Williams is an exceptional singer/songwriter whose style is a unique blend of vocal jazz, soul and R&B. She has released 4 solo albums and was rewarded in 2010 with a MOBO nomination for best UK soul artist. Natalie has become a fixture at Ronnie Scott's where she often performs with the resident trio and also hosts her own monthly event "Soul Family Sunday" where stars such as Jamie Cullum and Hamish Stuart have often appeared. This is sure to be an exciting night of soul, jazz and funk classics, so don't miss it! Completing the line up are Simon Carter (piano), Rob Mullarkey (bass) and Troy Miller (drums).

Sunday 30th October - Robert Castelli / Boom Quartet
Born in New York and now residing in Vienna, drummer Robert Castelli brings influences from jazz, funk, latin, Brazilian, African and Eastern music together in a truly original way. His albums as leader have received praise from jazz critics in the USA, UK and throughout Europe, and this gig tonight with his "Boom" quartet is part of an extensive British tour. Time Out Magazine described how this band "mixes smoky sax lines, with witty melodies, tough swing and nasty funk". For this exciting and eclectic evening of modern jazz, Robert is joined by Greg Heath on sax, Nic Meier on guitar and bassist Davide Mantovanni.
